Real Weddings: 6.2.12

Dominique & Filip

This past weekend we designed elaborate floral arrangements for Dominique and Filip's wedding at the Piedmont Community Church and the reception which took place at The Claremont Hotel & Spa in Berkley.

The keywords that we kept in mind for this wedding were romantic, lush, and soft accompanied by a color palette of soft blues, deep violets, and lush lavenders.

The bride's bouquet was lush, round, and romantic full of white freesia, blue scabiosa, sweet peas, lilacs, hydrangeas, cymbidiums, and white roses.
The bridesmaids' bouquets were designed on a smaller scale with vibrant shades of purple. The bouquet had purple hydrangeas, lavender freesia, dark blue delphinium, lisianthus, and violet stock.

The escort card table display was composed of a variety of purple shaded carnations and scabiosas.

The elegant and tall table centerpiece was full of lush hydrangeas, roses, stock, and delphinium.

The wedding cake by Katrina Rozelle was decorated with hydrangeas and white roses.

Christa & Brett

On the same day, Christa & Brett were getting married at the Presidio Log Cabin here in San Francisco! Their wedding was set to have a rustic, vintage, and natural theme along with whites, ivory, blush, and hints of green and grey.

The bride's bouquet was complete with peonies, roses, veronica, anemones, astilbe, dusty miller, and wax flower. We wrapped it in burlap and lace to give a rustic and vintage feel.

The bridesmaid's bouquets were designed a bit smaller than the brides, however, they still had the same beautiful flowers and natural burlap handle.

The groom's boutonniere was a white anenome accented with astilbe and wrapped in burlap. The groomsmen had a similar version that was accented with greenery.

The flower girl's pomander ball was finished with white carnations and a burlap and lace tie.
